Paria Movie Set at Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument

This is probably the most scenic and beautiful portion of our trip. The Paria Movie Set was used to film over 300 movies and TV shows from the 1930s to the 90s. This includes several episodes of Gunsmoke and Sergeants Three. A the site stood several replicas of the old Western buildings. Unfortunately the wooden building were the subject of arson and were destroyed in 2006.
