Taken during my 2000 Australia trip. The official reason for bullbars is to protect your vehicle if you crash into, say, a kangaroo or some other large animal. But I think the real reason is to make your car look bad-ass! There's been a push by the Australian government to ban these attachments as they can cause tremendous injury to pedestrians during a collision. Check out my other Australia trip pictures:
